                 STUDENT VOICE

SELF-WORTH

Students report being heard and feel their views are valued having a voice in my classroom.

In my classes students respect each other.

I provide opportunities for students to self-assess as part of the reflective process.

I meet the needs of all learners.

ENGAGEMENT

My feedback specifies what students have achieved and what they need to do and how to improve.

My students are willing to participate in and take responsibility for their learning.

I discuss learning intentions and success criteria with the students and we agree them together.

I ask questions to encourage students to think and explore.

I ask questions to encourage creative and critical thinking.

I encourage students to often ask questions.

Students are encouraged to give feedback to each other.

Students increasingly take ownership of their learning and are more engaged in thinking about their own learning.

Students work with one another – listen to one another and respect different views.

I invite students to provide feedback and suggestions on how my teaching might be improved.

PURPOSE

I encourage students to plan the next steps in their learning.

My lessons help students to understand what is happening in their everyday life.

I re-visit success criteria with students during the lessons.

I ask questions that force students to use existing knowledge or understanding to create new understanding.

Feedback specifies what students have achieved and what they need to do and how to improve.

How you can use this material in your practice:

STUDENT VOICE – Planning further steps …

Učitelji:

  • razmislijo in izberejo področje učenčevega glasu, ki bi ga želeli v prihodnje izboljšati v svoji praksi,
  • načrtujejo razvoj uvajanja le-tega v svojo prakso v naslednjih treh mesecih,
