Purpose of the material: 

The purpose of this CPD is to:

  • Involve students in decision making about their curriculum.
  • Increase the relevance of the curriculum from a student perspective.
  • Develop democratic qualities amongst students.
Material: 

Student prompt sheet.

Process: 

Students use the prompt sheet to awaken prior knowledge and learning experiences; develop learning questions; negotiate the relevance of questions with peers and teacher. The process results in a set of learning questions for the forthcoming lessons.
